Behind the Scenes: My First Week as a Medical Tech Trainer!

So, I've finally taken the plunge and started a new job as a trainer in the medical technology company. Let me tell you, it's been a whirlwind πŸŒͺ️ of a week!

First Impressions Matter (and so do job interviews!)
I've got a funny story about how I landed this gig. I've gone through 5 interviews ya to be exact. I actually applied for a different position initially, but after a series of interviews with various departments, all this Managers must have thought, "Hey, this guy's got potential!" and offered me the auditors position then document controller but I decided to be a trainer instead. Even until now my HR still ask whether I want to be her assistant instead. Well, talk about a lucky break! πŸ€ But I always want to be an educator. I want to share all my knowledge and experience to everyone. I want to help people. #ISFJ, the nurturer.

Orientation: A Crash Course in Medical Tech πŸ“š
The first week was a blur of orientation sessions, introductions, and getting to know my new colleagues. I was surprised by how much I learned in such a short time. From understanding the manufacturing field to ISO and what's not; it was a crash course and revision in medical tech.

Meeting the Team: A Bunch of Quirky Characters πŸ§
I met some really interesting people on my team. There's the boss who's like a protective father figure, always looking out for his team. And then there's the supply chain manager who's a walking encyclopedia of logistics. I've also encountered some hilarious characters who've made my first week a lot more enjoyable. πŸ˜‚

Training Days πŸ‘©πŸ»‍🏫 : A Mix of Excitement and Nervousness
As a trainer, I'll be responsible for teaching and developing our team. I'll make sure everyone has the skills they need to succeed and contribute to the company's growth. It's a mix of excitement and nerves. I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge and helping others grow, but I'm also a bit worried about making sure I provide the best possible training.

Challenges and Surprises πŸš§
Of course, there have been challenges. One of the biggest surprises was the sheer scale of the company. It's a massive facility with thousands of employees, which can be a bit overwhelming at times. I've also noticed some communication issues between different departments, which can be frustrating.

Lessons Learned and Future Goals πŸŒŸ
Despite the challenges, I've learned a lot in my first week. I've realized that patience and adaptability are key in this role. I'm also excited to continue learning and growing as a trainer. My goal is to become a skilled educator who can help others succeed in the medical technology field.

One thing that really resonates with me about this company is their guiding principles. Their emphasis on remaining faithful to promises and responsibilities πŸ™πŸ», thriving on accomplishment rather than greed and power πŸ’ͺ🏻, and striving for continuous improvement πŸ“ˆ aligns perfectly with my own values. I'm excited to be part of a company that shares these principles.

Additionally, I'm inspired by the company's commitment to making each day as fun as possible πŸŽ‰ and doing what's best for patient care ❤️. These values are important to me, and I believe they contribute to a positive and fulfilling work environment.

Overall, I'm really happy with my decision to join this company. The people are great, the work is interesting, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me. Stay tuned for more updates on my adventures as a medical tech trainer πŸ‘©πŸ»‍⚕️
