Eco-Shop Brick Flowers
But today, the waiting game was over.
You know, there's a part of me, my inner child, who just loves to build, to create, to get lost in the simple joy of putting pieces together. And honestly, it’s been a while since she got to play. So, with my three (Adam came back from archery training all tuckered out and went straight up for a nap) boys, we finally cracked open those boxes.
Remember last year everything was RM2.20 there? Total damage for all twelve boxes was a princely RM26.40. Honestly, a steal for the joy it brought. Now it's RM2.60, can you believe it? Inflation, even on the little plastic bricks ek?
The living room? Instant transformation. From a regular living room to a mini brick-building factory. Seriously, picture it: the boys, heads bent in concentration, fingers fumbling with tiny pieces, the satisfying click as a brick found its home. Yusuf, ever the meticulous one, probably double-checking the instructions. Iman, likely experimenting with some "alternative" designs. And Fateh, just happy to be in the thick of it, probably making sound effects.
It was pure chaos and pure bliss, all at once. For me? It was like a little therapy session. My inner child, who's been cooped up for way too long, finally got to stretch her legs. There’s something incredibly meditative about snapping those little bricks together, watching a colourful flower take shape in your hands. No deadlines, no emails, just the simple, tangible act of creating something pretty.
And you know what? Those flowers? They turned out so cute! Way prettier than you'd expect for RM2.20 a pop. They’re like little trophies of a perfect afternoon. A reminder that sometimes, the most profound healing comes from the simplest, most unassuming moments. Especially when you're surrounded by the noisy, beautiful chaos of your own kiddos.
I never knew that eco has those brick flowers? I bought a few boxes of these thingy but in a version of cars at eco. It's for my brother, he loves this kind of lego things. But he left it at my house so i need to wait for him to come back home and take them to his house at perlis. I m in melaka btw hahaha
