Recipe: Banana Toast π
We just can't get enough of this banana toast, can we? It's become a daily request from my boys and it's easy to see why la kan sebab Mak budak pun suka.

This isn't just any banana toast. It's a glorious mash-up of roti custard and creme brulee— seriously! π€€ And the best part? It's so much more delicious (and cheaper!) than anything you'd find at a mainstream bakery.

We've recently found our secret ingredient: Sunshine Bakeries' new Shokupan Gold Brioche Butter Loaf. It's softer, fluffier, and thicker than any bread we used to buy. The sweet, buttery aroma is absolutely intoxicating ❤️. Once you try this bread, there's no going back. If you can't find it, their Hokkaido Milk Toast is also a fantastic choice. Both are simply delicious!
Kiddos's Favourite Banana Toast π

✨ Ingredients:
2 slices of bread
1 banana, sliced into rounds or cut in half lengthwise
Butter or margarine
Mozzarella cheese
Sugar
Egg yolk for egg wash (optional, for a richer, golden finish)
How To Make It:
- Generously spread butter π§ on each slice of bread.
- Arrange your banana slices on top of the bread.
- Spread a little more butter over the bananas.
- If you're using it, brush on the egg wash.
- Sprinkle sugar and a generous amount of mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Pop the toast into your air fryer and bake at 180°C for 10 minutes.
- Your delicious, golden-brown toast is ready to serve. ππ»
Sweet, custardy, and with that melted, pull-apart cheese... it's pure glucose-goodness. We know it's not something to have every day, but a little treat now and then is perfectly fine.
