Johor Bahru, 6 August 2018 – Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru (Paradigm JB), had taken up the mission to promote fashion in a way that has never been done before, with a star-studded fashion gala, which featured Malaysian Actress Sazzy Falak; Malaysian-born supermodel, Amber Chia; as well as ‘Instafamous’ Atiha Haris.

Held in conjunction with Paradigm JB Fashion Week, which ran from 20 July 2018 until 29 July 2018, the event showcased offerings for different ages, body types, and cultures, proving that fashion is not ‘one size fits all. Guests witnessed breathtaking performances by Wani Kayrie and song-bird Ernie Zakri. The fashion show culminated with a spectacular number by rapping sensation, Altimet.

Supporting the theme ‘Fashion For All’, each participating fashion label presented sixteen ensembles from their recent collections to showcase the latest fashion trends. Malaysia’s leading diamond retailer, Diamond & Platinum, kicked-off the fashion gala with one of its bestselling collection ‘Grandeur Collection’ while Carlo Rino showcased high-fashioned accessories from the latest collection accompanied by Keyin, Malaysia’s first female freestyle saxophonist.

Parkson wowed the crowd with Spanish Fast Fashion brand – Sfera’s Spring / Summer collection that reinvented colour explosion for women and tropical prints in light colours for men’s casual wear while Valentino Rudy showcased high-quality office wear as well as accessories for both men and women. Japan-Inspired Fashion Co, COCO; Max Fashion and Turkey fashion label, DeFacto, featured attractive and fashion-forward ready-to-wear outfits for everyone.

The first edition of Paradigm JB’s fashion week, which was also the largest in the Southern Region, featured over 40 fashion brands. These include Adidas, Amoeba, Carlo Rino, Coco,DeFacto, Eyefont, Focus Point, Hipper, Kawaii Kids, Max, MOG, Nyla Fashion, Parkson, Poonam Collection, Puma and many others.

Throughout the ten-day affair, each participating fashion brand was given the opportunity to showcase their ready-to-wear collections, which ranged from shoes to eyewear and adults’ wear to kids’ wear, at an allocated time, which was from 12.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

MEGA CARNIVAL SALE AT PARADIGM MALL
Prior to the Fashion Week, Paradigm JB conducted a ‘Let's be Fabulous" contest, where over three winners were entitled two special invites each to the fashion gala. In addition, shoppers who spent RM300 and above from the participating outlets were awarded a pair of exclusive invites.

Going hand in hand with this fashion extravaganza is the mega carnival sale. From now until 31 August 2018, Paradigm JB will be providing great bargains, rewards and special privileges for all shoppers.
