Yes, Malaysia Truly Asia. What a week eh?π€― From unexpected sinkholes to political drama and international affairs, the news has been anything but dull.
What did you do this week? Well, this week I didn't do much. I scrolled through article after article, picked up and dropped off the kids from school, did some research, and tried to finish all my paperwork before going back to the office next month.

- Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) 2024. π° At last, some good news for rakyat! Our government will distribute the Rahmah Cash Contribution (STR) Phase 3 as scheduled starting from August 29, 2024 (Thursday) to more than 8 million existing recipients. Meanwhile, new recipients and those who have appealed will receive their payments starting from September 18, 2024 (Wednesday). They will receive cash assistance of up to RM650 according to their respective eligibility categories.

Sports dominated the headlines in Malaysia this past week, as usual of course. Football matches, badminton tournaments, and cricket ⚽️πΈπ matches all made the trending list. Football fans were particularly excited about the Premier League matches between Brighton vs Man United and Aston Villa vs Arsenal. Badminton kipas-susah-mati followed the Japan Open 2024 closely (today last day!), while cricket fans tuned in for the Pakistan vs Bangladesh match.
